I got to surprise Taya and be the mystery reader for her class.  She was so excited when she saw it was me!

 I loved sharing this special time with my Taya!

Fall FUN!

We went to a farm that's just a few minutes from our house.  Check out the good time we had.

We were supposed to hit up their pumpkin patch, but after several hours on the fun....the girls were EXHAUSTED!

Run Fun

It's already started, the first fundraiser. Taya had a fun run at her school.  It's where you pledge so many dollars for every lap they run.  The bad news...it poured down rain that day, so the run was inside.  Rain did not stop Taya from running FAST!

 Teagan was there to cheer her on!

 It was pretty loud and chaotic!

 Taya just kept running and running!

 As you can see, this little one got a little bored with all of the running.

 For each completed lap, Taya would get another check mark on her shirt.

 She did the most laps you could do...35!  So proud of my little runner!

Open House

I got the chance to go to Taya's 1st open house.  I was excited to see all she was learning.

 I got to see all of her art work.

 At the end of each school day, she gets a colored circle to let me know how she is doing.  She started with greens, which means ready to learn...and now she's gotten 12 purple's in a row, which means SUPER SCHOLAR!!!  She is so proud of herself that she has never gotten below a green.

 She earns paws when she does something extra special.  When she earns 10 paws, she earns a special treat.  She already earned 10 paws, and now she's on her way to another treat!

 We LOVE her teachers.  We couldn't be happier with who she got!

Beautiful Night

 Bart and I had a special date night.  We got invited to a charity black tie event.  I went all out and got my hair and make-up done.
