Taya Day

Having my mom visit is so great. Not only does she do everything around the house, plus so much more than you could ever think of, it also means we have a babysitter!  She watched Teagan while we took Taya out for a day of spoiling.  She wanted to go to Dave and Busters.
It was her first time there, and the first game she played...she won 1,000 tickets!
That's all just from one game!
 She LOVES any racing game.
First time playing, and look...1st place!
 More tickets!
After Dave and Busters, she wanted to play in the mall play area.
Then, she sat on Santa's lap and told him the two things she really wanted!
After a Taya day, Bart and I went out with some of our friends to an NC State basketball game.  We had great seats...
as we all partied in our very own suite!

Need for Speed

Taya is just like her daddy. She spotted our neighbors scooter, and she wanted to try it.  It's for kids 12 and older and goes 15 mph.  That didn't stop this daredevil!
Ever since she got off of it, she's been asking for her own.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We started our Thanksgiving off a little early by decorating for Christmas!
The girls were super excited to put up the tree.
Taya's favorite part is putting on all of the ornaments.
It was a work in progress, but we got it all done!  All of the ornaments have a special meaning to us.  Many are  handmade and from my childhood, the trips we took together, and all of the wonderful memories as a family.  The girls like to know what each ornament means.
For Thanksgiving, Bart cooked us all a WONDERFUL and DELICIOUS meal!
At night, Grammy watched the girls so Bart and I could have one last date night before she went back home.

Princess & Superheros!

Grammy bought the girls tickets to a pretty cool event this past weekend.
They were all dressed up ready to meet some special characters.
Look who we ran into first...Olaf!
Taya's buddy Brooks was there too.
 Anna!
Sleeping Beauty helped Teagan make a jingle wreath,
Besides princesses, there were also superheros there.  Superman!
 Taya with Sleeping Beauty.
 Cinderella painting Taya's face.
Teagan got her face painted too!
 Rapunzel!
 Ariel!
 Teagan's favorite...Elsa!
Elsa helped Teagan make a snow globe.
Taya got help from Captain America!
 Olaf again!
 The big man himself...Santa!
Mrs. Claus read a story to the kids.
Belle checking out the girls sand art.
Grammy helped the girls make their masterpieces.
 Spider-Man!
 Teaching Taya his hand thing.
What a great day of princesses and superhero's!  Thanks Grammy!!!
