Into EVERYTHING!

I can't even explain how Teagan gets into everything.  You sit the girl down, and she is off getting into something.
You call her name...and she just looks at you and smiles...
and keeps going where she shouldn't be.
No matter how many times she bangs her head trying to stand...
 she keeps doing it!
Then there's Taya.  Of course if Teagan is into something...Taya needs to check it out too!

THANK YOU GRAMMY!

After being with us for a week and a half, I can't believe Grammy can still smile, let alone even be awake.  Each visit, she tells me she is going to relax and just enjoy the kids.  While she does spoil the kids NON-STOP...there is no relaxing when it comes to Grammy.  I was exhausted just watching her work.  Before heading back to Pittsburgh, I wanted to get a picture of Grammy and the girls.
  Teagan cooperated!
Taya...for some reason refuses to get her picture taken!
Even Teagan is wondering what the heck is Taya's problem???
Teagan....couldn't smile any bigger for the picture!
Thanks to Grammy: our house is fully decorated... Christmas shopping is done... Christmas baking is done...Bart and I had many, many date nights...house is cleaned...refrigerator and pantry stocked...and most importantly the girls made PRECIOUS memories with their Grammy!  We can't wait to have Grammy and Grampy back in 4 short weeks!

Day Off

I took the day off on Monday to enjoy the last full day with my mom.
Of course, Taya wanted to head to Pullen Park for some fun.
While Taya wanted Grammy to push her really high...
Grammy surprised Taya with an under duck!
Taya was surprised, but wanted Grammy to do it again, and again, and again!

Baking Time

With Grammy here that means  A LOT of baking.
Taya is taking after her Grammy when it comes making all of the Christmas goodies.
I turned my back for a second...
 and caught her diving in....
to more than one peanut butter ball!

Christmas is Here

We got out the Christmas decorations.
Taya wanted to help do EVERYTHING!
Taking a popsicle break. (By the way it was in the 70's while we did all of this!)
Our little reindeer just taking it all in.
Of course, Grammy had to clean everything before we put up the decorations.
 Rudolf finally wanted to help!
Bart and I went out for the night, and when we came back....look what Taya did!
She was so proud to show us every ornament.
Grammy told her the history of every homemade ornament.  Generations of love fill our tree.
 Teagan was in awe.
 Two happy kids!
Teagan attempted to help hang the ornaments too.
Taya made sure she told Teagan which ones are fragile.
I LOVE this picture.  Such a magical time with our family.

Gingerbread House

Grammy bought Taya a gingerbread house to put together.
Looks like someone likes eating the icing...more than putting the house together.
 Helping Grammy.
 Almost done.
Taya LOVED putting all of the candy on the house.  She would not let anyone eat any candy, as she wanted it all on the house.

SO SAD!

As you can see the blog is ruined.  I thought I was freeing up space to put new posts, but instead I lost everything.  You can only see my most recent post, and past videos.  All the rest of the pictures are gone.  I don't know what I'm going to do as I'm too upset to even think about starting over.

It's Been a While

I try and post often, but these last few days I have been having trouble with the blog.  I have reached my limit   in space on this blog. (Google will only let me have so much free space)  You would think I could just delete old posts, and that would free up space...NOPE...not that simple.  I've spent the last couple of days trying to figure out what to do (I'm too cheap to pay for more space).  I finally think we figured something out.
As for what we have been up too...Grammy has been spoiling the girls...including me...non-stop.  She spent one entire day at Monkey Joe's with Taya, and they also closed down Marbles.  Teagan is getting spoiled too with quality play time with Grammy.
Today was just great. It started with Teagan finally sleeping through the night (a first in a long time!)  Bart cooked the entire Thanksgiving feast, and it was delicious!  Teagan loved the sweet potatoes and corn.
Taya...let's just say she was very moody today.  This girl is 3 going on 13!
I haven't taken many pictures...as while Grammy is spoiling the girls...Bart and I are out and about enjoying some alone time.
The best news of all...Grammy is still here for several more days!!!

Getting Spoiled!

The girls have gotten some great gifts recently.  Taya has been waiting for a rainy day to wear this raincoat the Broker's got her.  We finally got some rain, and when she put it on for school she said, "Now I'm going to be safe from the raindrops."
Aunt Mokey sent the girls these princess magnets.
Of course, Teagan wanted to make sure Taya shared with her.
Then, we got a special surprise from one of mommy's friends.  When I opened the box up, Taya immediately grabbed the purple monkey and said,"Wow, this is for me mommy....not you!"
Having a dance party with their new friends.
The girls just love playing with the cuddly animals.
Ellyn told me she saw the purple monkey, and she immediately thought of me because of how much I LOVE purple.  Taya must secretly love purple, too, as she went right for it when she saw it in the box.
 Snuggling with her new friend.
Teagan went right for "Teegan"....yes, that's actually the turtle's name!!!  (Doesn't Ellyn just find the perfect gifts!)
She chewed the name tag right off of it to make sure this turtle knows it belongs to her!
Then the best came gift that could ever come to save me from a month of stress arrived via airplane....Grammy!!!  You would think I would have tons of pictures of her visit so far...but, Bart and I have been enjoying some 'alone' time since she got here.  Grammy has been watching the girls...and Bart and I have been doing everything we did before we had kids!
