Santa Claus

We decided to try the whole Santa thing this year.  We skipped it last year because of two crying kids, and this year we weren't too hopeful.
Both were all smiles in line...
but only one had a smile when it came to sitting on Santa's lap.  Ya Taya!
Teagan screamed, and I did not waste my money on a picture.  After seeing Santa, there was story time with Mrs. Claus.
Teagan actually got close to Mrs. Claus without crying!

Christmas Fun

It's not even Thanksgiving, but my kids are already in the Christmas spirit.  We are decorated for the holidays, and the girls LOVE playing with all of the decorations.
There are three of these carolers, and the girls love to carry them around the house and have a party with them.
They also LOVE these little singing stuffed things.
At times, they will have all of them going off at one time.
Then, this one can't stop asking, "How many more days till Santa comes?"
I think she has had too much spiked eggnog!

Grammy's Helpers

Grammy is fast at work making all kinds of goodies for us.  Of course, the girls want to help her.
 Taya is already a pro.
The girls getting ready for another batch of chocolates.
 Time to eat the rejects.
 YUM!

Busy Saturday

We started the day bright and early at Marbles Kids' Museum.  My work just opened a new display there, the ABC11 news helicopter.
 Taya working the camera.
They opened the museum just for the families of my work, so it was so nice to have the whole place with just a few kids.
I was pretty impressed...look what Taya spelled all by herself with no help!
Teagan trying to write her name.
 Onto the next exhibit...
The best news in a long time...GRAMMY IS HERE!
We couldn't believe Teagan made it to the top of the pirate ship all by herself!
 The girls love the farm.
Too bad we will never live on one!
 Putting out some fires.
 Still on the farm.
 My little drama queen.
Grammy was a trooper as she watched both girls at Marbles while I was in the Raleigh Christmas Parade.
 Some of my co-workers.
Waving to thousands and thousands of people along the parade route.
