We had Taya's party a little early this year, as we will be away on her birthday. She decided she wanted a Frozen pool party, and she also wanted to have it with one of her friends Alena. So, we moms went to work. I also put my family to work. First job, the Olaf doughnuts.
My little helper.
Bart was AMAZING! He spent a lot of time making some of the special Frozen party food.
These Olaf doughnuts weren't as easy to make as I thought.
Teagan wanted to help, but what did she do?
Eat all of the chocolate!
The finished product.
I got this idea thanks to my Aunt Sandy.
Here was what Bart worked so hard on.
More treats for the kids.
Deb, Alena's mom, worked hard on the AMAZING Olaf cake.
The party was ready to start!
Olaf even made an appearance.
All of the girls friends.
We played some games. The first one was try and get the rings on Olaf's nose.
The mom's behind all the party planning.
Look at my little one go.
The kids really liked all of the food.
This game got played a lot.
We played another game. The cups at one time looked like Olaf.
The goal was to get these Olaf ping pong balls in the cups.
It's beer pong...Frozen style!
Time for cake! The birthday girls were ready!
While the singing started, there was a little 'excitement' going on behind the kids.
Without going into much detail, it included one little girl chocking on a chicken nugget and bringing everything in her belly back up. (You can somewhat see the parents in the background react.)
Then as the girls were blowing out the candles, Bart had to dive into the pool and save a random girl who was having trouble.
Throughout all the drama...the birthday girls had no clue! They LOVED their party.
Of course, Taya LOVED all of her gifts.
Teagan is hiding in one of the bags as she's upset the gifts aren't for her.
What a great way to celebrate Taya's 5th birthday.
