Our big Disney trip is just days away, and the girls have been sick with sinus infections. Teagan is trying to clear away all of the snot with the back massager!

Special Treat
Thanks to Nana Gail, Bart and I had a date night on Saturday to celebrate our anniversary early. This morning when Taya woke up, she said she wanted a date day with us. We all got dressed and headed to one of their favorite places...Chuck E Cheese.
They look like they're fighting over the ride, but they actually wanted to ride it together.
Thanks to Grammy and Grampy for the gift cards...we had a great time.

My Little Ninja
When Taya was at school, Teagan found her karate outfit and put it on.
There's that face again.
It's amazing at just 2 what this girl picks up from just watching Taya at karate.

Frozen Frenzy Continues
If you wonder where my paycheck goes right now....it's pretty easy to see. Meet Anna.
If you don't know who Anna is, again you have no clue what is important to these girls!
Who knows what's up with the faces.
Now Teagan's turn at playing Anna.
How cute is this?
They even act out certain parts of the movie.
Now to the singing.
Still a little bit of energy left.
Yes, I realize we are obsessed with Frozen!

Super Hero
Taya was at her buddy Owen's house, and despite being all boy toys..she fits right in. First, she's Spider Man....
and then she's whoever this super hero is???

Soccer Time
It's Spring soccer season. Daddy is once again a coach. Teagan wishes she could be out on the field.
Taya is much more excited this year about soccer.
She actually kicks the ball when it comes to her!
She even runs after the ball.
She loves when her buddy Brooks is one the field with her. We have to tell them to stop holding hands!

Every Night is a Party
We love our neighbors. There is typically not a night that goes by that friends don't stop over to play. On this night, while the adults enjoyed the beautiful weather outside...the kids all were quiet inside watching Frozen.

50% Success/50% Failure
While I made my two little girls very happy today, I was disappointed in my mom skills when it comes to snagging the coveted Disney Store Elsa dress. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're clearly not part of our world.
My girls are OBSESSED with Frozen. I go to bed hearing Let it Go, wake up hearing Let it Go, basically hum it to myself even though I'm sick of that song. Well, today was the big day. The movie was released on DVD. That really was no big deal as the girls bought it weeks ago on ITUNES with their gift card from Aunt Sandy and Uncle Jim, but what it did mean was the hard to find Frozen merchandise might finally be released. (The good stuff has been out of stock for months.)
So here is my morning. My plan was to get ready early, and get to the Disney Store as soon as I can to wait in line...yes wait in line all to try and get my hands on an Elsa and Anna dress and Elsa hair. When I got home form the gym at 7am, something told me to check online at the Disney Store. I did that and low and behold there were the dresses just staring at me. As fast as I could, I ordered both dresses for the girls along with everything else Anna and Elsa I could. Trust me, I was a little worried as I saw the dollars add up. I was thinking Bart is going to be like you spent how much! I go to check out, put my credit card information in, and then the bad news. The Elsa dress just sold out!!! My heart sank, but then I still had the Anna dress and Elsa hair so I considered it at least 50% success. I figured OK, let's now head to the Disney Store to see if they had the dress there. We happened to have an ice storm, so Taya had no school and she wanted to go along for the ride. I knew this would be a bad idea as she would convince me to buy even more, but off we went to the mall. We weren't the first people in line, just the 8th and 9th.
As they cut the red ribbon to open the store, I could see the excitement on Taya's face.
She ran into the store, and she grabbed everything Frozen she could!
We were in and out within minutes, as I still had to get to work.
As you can see from Taya's face....she made out!
The store didn't have the special Elsa dress I wanted to get the girls, but Taya spotted these dresses and fell in love. (They're really PJ's, but she doesn't know the difference)
Seeing the girls so happy made it all worth it!
So where was my 50% failure? I went online to see how I missed out on the Elsa dresses. I came to find out Disney released the dresses at 3am online. Somehow I missed the memo on this, but many moms didn't and actually set their alarms for 3am and got those special Elsa dresses. So now I guess for the next how many days, I need to wake up at 3am to see if I can snag 2 Elsa dresses too.

Busy Saturday!
I'm exhausted just writing this as we were on the go all day Saturday. The girls got all dressed up for a birthday party.
I tried to get a good picture of the girls. This is about the best it gets as Teagan's smile needs work.
One more curtsy before we left for the party.
Owen was celebrating his 4th birthday...it was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Party!!! Check out that amazing cake.
We couldn't stay long at the party, because we had to run to Taya's first soccer game. Before we left the party, Taya had some fun with Ethan.
Soccer was a blur as we were late getting to the game. I didn't get any pictures as I was busy keeping Teagan off the field, but Taya played GREAT! After soccer, Taya and I went to a carnival where she will go to school next year. She played with lots of kids, and also made some art projects.
Then, we ended the night with a fire party at one of our neighbors. It was a gorgeous night, so they had a fire complete with s'mores...yum!!!

Last Night with Grammy and Grampy
It's been a WONDERFUL two weeks...for us it's gone too fast. For my parents, I'm sure they are ready to get the heck out of Raleigh. We are sad to see them go, but we had to do one last hurrah. The girls picked Chuck E Cheese.
Teagan ran from game to game pulling Grampy with her everywhere.
Taya had Grammy by her side.
Check out those smiles.
Guess who won?
Loving on her Grammy.
Shooting more hoops.
For the first time, Teagan wasn't afraid of Chuck E
OK, maybe a little.
This was the funny moment of the night. Teagan loves parmesan cheese. I gave her the shaker and she proceeded to take the top off and dump all of the cheese on her pizza. She grabbed a spoon and scooped up the cheese.
Sisterly love.
The girls love skee ball.
Teagan's classic horrible cheese face.
Taya's classic silly face.
My rock star.
Ready to go home, but first dessert!
