Sneak Peek

We had a family getaway to Myrtle Beach.  To say the girls had a blast, is an understatement.   While Bart and I are exhausted, we know it was worth it as the girls never stopped smiling.  I have over 100 pictures, and while typically I would take the few hours to blog about it all.  I have too many good shows on my DVR to watch, so the blogging will have to wait.  Here are just a few of the girls in action.

Party at the Brodersen's

We had some friends over for dinner, and the kids had their own little table with their own little fun!

Princess Party

Taya was invited to her friend's Lilly's 4th birthday party.  It was a princess party.

 Check out her house...that's Rapunzel up in the top left window with her long hair.

 This was a break through for Taya as she has never had her face painted!  (Except for mommy doing it)

Difference Between Child 1 & 2

Today was Teagan's first day of 'school'.  I signed her up for an hour long class, and as you can see she was ready to go!

 It will take me 6 months to get a picture of Taya smiling when she heads of to school...Teagan...no tears...all smiles!

Singing in the Rain

Grammy bought Taya this new umbrella and rain jacket. She has been asking to use it ever since she got it, but we haven't had any rain.  Finally yesterday, it rained for about 5 minutes.  Taya grabbed them both and rain outside!

Back Home and then Back on the Road

Daddy has been gone A LOT!  He was home for 48 hours, and spent some quality time with Taya at Marbles!

They played so hard take a look at Taya on the way home.

 Saturday afternoon, Taya had 2 birthday parties.  I took her to those parties as I thought Bart would rest, spend some time with Teagan, and pack for his next trip.  One party was at the pool, and the other was at a cool place called Play Nation.

When we got home from the parties, we realized daddy did not rest, but put up the trampoline!  Sunday morning, Bart was back on an airplane gone for more than a week...Taya came into my room by 7am ready to jump on the trampoline!

 We ended the weekend with a 3 mile jog.  The only way I can exercise with the two girls is Tegan goes in the jogger stroller, and Taya rides her bike.  It's an exhausting bike ride for her, but I convince her to keep going as a stop at the doughnut shop is part of the jog!

Busch Gardens, Williamsburg

These pictures are from about two weeks ago, as I forgot about them.  Before we met my family at Great Wolf Lodge, we headed to Busch Gardens.  It was our first road trip in a long time with Teagan, and here is more proof that shows she is NOT a good traveler!!!

 Once we got to the hotel, the IPADS were out, and they were relaxing.

At Busch Gardens, they had a Sesame Street play area where you could meet all of the characters. 

 This was the closest Teagan would go.
