Rainy Day

The meteorologists said it would be a perfect day for the pool.  We put on our bathing suits, and we were ready to go.  Then, we actually looked outside.

Guess the weather people got that one wrong!  So the girls still decided to make their own water fun.

 The girls were having so much fun, Brooks and Wesley joined in on it all.

 The bubble machine was a HUGE hit.

Taya Lost her 1st Tooth!

Technically, it's her 2nd tooth, but I don't count the first one as that was yanked out of her mouth at just 2 years old at Monkey Joe's.  But now she lost one of her bottom front teeth.  It's been loose for a few weeks, and she kept wanting me to pull it out.  I refused, and one night she called me up in her room at 11:00pm and said, "Mommy I think my tooth is coming out."  It literally was just hanging there, and I told her to pull it out.  She did!

 She didn't want to leave it for the Tooth Fairy until she showed her tooth to Bart.  Once Bart got home from a business trip, she was excited to leave her tooth for the Tooth Fairy.

 Take a look at what she got.  The Tooth Fairy even left some fairy dust on the money.

My Karate Pro

Taya had a special event at her karate school.  I never get to see her in action as her class is always during my work.  Today, I got to see my shy little girl be not so shy.

What's amazing is she even volunteered to lead the class.

BIG NIGHT for Taya

Taya has been asking to get her ears pierced.  I really didn't think she would ever go through with it.  This morning, she asked again.  I told her when I got home from work we would go.  When I got home from work, I never expected her to still be excited to get her ears pierced, but she was.  So off we went to the mall.  When we got to the piercing place, I could see her mood change...she no longer wanted to do it.  BUT...she stayed strong, and look...she did it!!!

 Teagan at first said she wanted to do it, but then after seeing Taya get her ears pierced..she quickly said NO, NO, NO!!!

New Addition

The girls have been bugging me to get a dog.  Since Teagan seems to be mastering potty training, I finally caved!

Princess Day

I surprised the girls with a special princess day.  They had no idea what to expect, but they were all dressed up for a fun day.

 It was a princess party that had 11 Disney princesses.  With each princess, the girls did something special.  First up, Ariel.

 They made sand art with The Little Mermaid.

Merida painted their nails.

 Anna did Teagan's makeup.

 Elsa did Taya's makeup.

 Cinderella read the girls a book while they ate some snacks.

 They made necklaces with Pocahontas.

 Then, it was time for their hair to get done.

 Taya LOVED how Tiana did her hair.

They then colored princess pictures.

 Teagan gave the picture she colored to Belle.

 After getting all dolled up, they walked the red carpet with a princess.

 Look at the sweet treat they got to take home!

What a magical day...plus it was so much cheaper than a trip to Disney World!!!
