Where Have We Been?

We hit the friendly skies on the 27th, and we just got back from a fun filled week in Minnesota.  I was pretty nervous about the trip, as it was a TON of traveling, and my kids are not good travelers.  During the week,  we flew 1,960 miles, drove more than 700 miles in the car, slept in 4 different places....BUT they did AWESOME!  While we are all exhausted, we had a great time!  We first headed to Uncle Shane, Aunt Leida, Taylor and Gabbie's house.  We checked out a local park.
Taya hit it off with her cousin Gabbie right away!
 Aunt Mokey.
 My girls...
 We celebrated Taya's birthday.
Aunt Leida, Uncle Shane, Taylor and Gabbie spoiled her with lots of Frozen books.
 Cake time.
Teagan LOVED Gabbie's BIG bear.
Teagan also really liked their dog Sammie.
Then, we jumped in the car and drove a few hours to Grandma & Grandpa Brodersen's house.  The first thing the girls wanted to do was swing on their big tree swing.
 Special moments with Grandma Brodersen.
Another birthday celebration, this time it was finally her actual birthday...June 29th.
More aweseome gifts from Grandma and Grandpa.
Yes, more cake!
The girls really enjoyed exploring on Grandma and Grandpa's farm.
This swing provided hours of fun.
Daddy doing an under duck.
Bubble time.
Grandma and Grandpa also got the girls a kite.
Taya spent some special time with Grandma and Grandpa as Teagan napped away.
Then, the main attraction...the beautiful horses.
Taya was not scared at all, and she jumped on each horse ready to ride.
Taya took a break from the horses and made some strawberry jam with Grandma.
Check out this ride!
Fire time...the girls roasted hot dogs.
Back to check out the horses.  The girls really liked the baby horse.
Teagan was back to swinging.
Even a corn field to run through.
We ended the perfect night with s'mores.
There is much more fun things to come...stay tuned for more adventures in Minnesota.
