Bike Ride
We are so lucky to have the American Tobacco Trail just minutes from our house. It's miles and miles of a beautiful trail through the woods. Taya loved going...Teagan...see for yourself!
So many people ask me why we don't travel with our kids. Heck, my brother is less than 5 hours a way from us, and we haven't seen him for over a year. The reason...Teagan is not a good traveler!!! Not even for a 30 minute bike ride.

Day 2 of Camp
So Day 2 of camp did not start off too good. We got it the car and she said, "Mommy, I'm really nervous." I told her it would be a fun day, and as soon as we pulled into the parking lot...tears!!! Teagan headed right in without Taya, as Taya continued crying. I tried to get the tears to stop, but I had to make one of those exits from the classroom and just let her scream it out. I was practically crying out the door as I felt so bad for her. The teacher e-mailed me at 11:00, and said her tears stopped shortly after I left, and that Taya was having a great day. When I got home from work, this was our conversation about what she learned in school.

Vacation Bible School
It was the 1st day of summer camp at Taya's new school. Typically when we try anything new, there are lots of tears. We've been working on no tears...and on our way it was all smiles!!!
I'm trilled to report that there were NO tears. She survived me dropping her off. While I could tell she was nervous, she gave me a big hug and stayed strong!!! Teagan on the other hand...she cried when we walked out as she wanted to stay!!!

Happy Birthday Madison!
First up...making squid.
Then, a really cool craft.
With all different colors of rice, the girls filled their jars to make a masterpiece.
I was pretty impressed with Taya's creation.
The birthday girl with Taya.
Check out that Little Mermaid cake!!!
Taya even got princess tattoo's.
Thanks to Aunt Temple, Uncle Scott, Zack, Jake, and Madi for the adorable outfit.
It was perfect attire for the party.
Taya had so much fun celebrating Madison's 3rd Birthday!!!

Bounce Fun
We found an old bounce thing my parents bought Taya when she was about two. It's so much fun to bring back old toys, and watch the girls make new memories all over again.
The girls wore that bounce thing out in just two weeks. Bart kept patching each hole with duck tape, but with all the neighborhood kids enjoying it too...it bit the dust. Soooooo....look what Bart brought out!
Now we have a bouncy castle in our playroom.
