Pig Tails!

 I was finally able to get some cute little pig tails on my Teagan.

 She looks like a little "Mini Me" of myself when I was her age.

My Little Bakers

We love to make cookies...or should I say eat the cookie dough!

Wild and Crazy

While Taya is shy at school, at home...she is one crazy girl.  She turns up the music and we have a big dance party!

 It typically includes Teagan taking her clothes off???

 Bart takes much of the abuse the entire dance party.

Great Wolf Lodge

We treated the girls to an early Christmas present, a getaway to the Great Wolf Lodge!  The minute we walked in, Taya spotted one of her friends.

 Then, off to the water park!

 At night, they had a whole Christmas celebration.

 Taya told Santa exactly what she wanted.

 Teagan waved to Santa from a distance.

 Then, a Christmas story at the clock tower.

 After the story time, a special treat for the girls...it actually snowed inside Great Wolf Lodge.  Ending the perfect night with an ice cream sundae!

 Back to the water park in the morning.

 The girls LOVE the wave pool.

 Taya did lots of slides.  It was hard to get a good picture...but if you look real close that's Taya and I on the two slides on the far left...behind the lady you can actually see.

Grammy's a Good Influence

Grammy was here for a week, and look how she's transformed our girls.

 You don't even have to ask...they both run and grab the sweeper or broom and start cleaning.

 Even though Grammy is gone...

 my girls have turned into BIG helpers!

 Taya spilled something...

 and both girls grabbed towels and wiped it right up.

THANKS GRAMMY...if only you could teach them  how to cook now!

When it comes to ICEE's, watch out...both girls LOVE them.

 We get one for them to share, and while they used to fight over it constantly...

 Grammy had the best idea to get two straws.

 It works so well until Teagan takes it away and drinks from both straws.

Thanksgiving Holiday

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Bart whipped up a delicious meal, and afterwards my mom, Teagan and I went shopping!

 Teagan wanted EVERYTHING!  We found tons of great deals, and our Christmas shopping is done!

 Then, Bart surprised me with a getaway to Asheville, NC for the weekend.  He had it all planned....the spa, the restaurants, shoppping....even places to get great desserts!  One of our first stops...

 The whole weekend was so relaxing as it was kid free.  We enjoyed our meals with no little ones screaming...plus we slept through the night without hearing a crying kid!!!

 One of the best meals we had was at a place called The Red Stag, which resembled a modern rustic hunting lodge. 

 The food...AMAZING!

 Then, Bart had tickets to something that's been on my list for a long time.  The candlelight Christmas tour of the Biltmore Estate.

 It was so romantic to walk through the house at night all decorated for the holiday.  No cameras were allowed inside the estate, so I couldn't capture the beauty.

 While we got to relax and have a peaceful and romantic getaway....Grammy stayed home with the girls and had sleepless nights, stress filled day....BUT the girls had LOTS of fun with their Grammy.  This gingerbread house was just one of their many creations!  Thanks Grammy for letting us get away...and thanks Bart for surprising me with a memorable, plus very relaxing vacation.
