We didn't think anything could top Disney World, but Grammy and Grampy Wilson are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year, and they decided to treat us all to a family getaway on the Disney Magic for a week! We arrived first at Port Canaveral, and we got a huge surprise. When we were checking in, they picked us a "Family of the Day!" We got to be the first to do everything, and not wait in one line!!!
We were announced as "Family of the Day", and we got to be the first family on the ship!
Waiting for the rest of the Wilson gang to join us.
They arrived!
Let the fun begin.
Sail away party.
Grammy and Grampy, they made this trip possible!
Ready to party!
Teagan wasted no time and hit the water fun.
Which included a water slide.
Each night they had a special Broadway style show. The kids really enjoyed them.
Celebrating Grammy and Grampy at dinner.
We had plenty of good food to fill our bellies.
At dinner, there was always a special show to end the night.
We decorated our cabin door so the girls could always find it.
On our first full day, Grammy surprised each grandchild with some special treats. They each got money and gift cards to buy something special during the week.
We also had s special meet and greet with the princesses.
Loving the ship!
Our first stop on the cruise...Key West.
After exploring Key West, it was back to the boat for ice cream. They had self serve, and you could get it at all hours. Let's just say the girls ate TONS of it.
The girls ran into Peter Pan.
Bart and I had a special night. The kids stayed with the rest of the Wilson's, and we enjoyed a quiet dinner.
The next day was a day at sea, and we all hit the pools.
Let's just say the kids hot tubs were ALWAYS packed!
Movies pool side.
More hot tub time.
Madi and Teagan loved playing in the water.
After all day at the pools, it was time for some shuffle board.
Taya snacking on some pizza while enjoying the view.
Uncle Scott and the gang LOVED playing bingo.
Ready for a fun night!
Another amazing show.
All dressed up and pretty.
Can you believe I wore the purple dress I have on to my junior prom!
A family picture of us all together to end the wonderful night!
The next morning we woke up in Grand Cayman. We had an excursion booked to go snorkeling and swim with the stingrays. We were told conditions were horrible as it was really choppy, and we should not take the little ones. The warning didn't stop us, off we went! Taya was ready to snorkel.
Grampy in the water.
Taya was amazing for her first time snorkeling.
Teagan and Grammy enjoying time on the boat.
Grampy, Zack, Taya and Bart all having a blast checking out the fish.
Teagan wanted to see if she could see any fish.
Yes, there were TONS of fish!
It turned out to be a beautiful day.
We got done with snorkeling, and we headed to a sand bar to swim with the stingrays.
Plenty of wild stingrays for us to touch and feed.
Garmmy wasn't scared at all.
Taya wasn't too sure.
Teagan knew she did not want to touch one, but we tried.
It's good luck to kiss a stingray....so Grammy gave it a shot!
A stingray massage.
Just enjoying the beautiful blue water.
I finally got in the water.
Getting my luck!
I finally got Taya to come close.
We headed back to the ship...took a long nap and we were ready for a night of fun!
Dinner as a family.
Teagan was ready to eat!
The girls really liked the dinner show.
Dessert was decorate your own cupcakes.
She still wanted more, so she got an ice cream Mickey bar.
Celebrating Grammy and Grampy's 50 years.
Pictures with the big guy.
An impromptu dance party broke out.
Teagan had the whole floor clapping and watching her get down.
I missed the good parts, but you can get the gist of the fun.
It was midnight, and the girls were still going strong!
