Snow Day!

Well, I say snow...but it was really all ice!  It didn't matter the girls still LOVED seeing the white on the ground.

 Typically when we get any kind of weather, I work around the clock.  This time Bart is out of town and Nana Gail couldn't get to us, so I got to stay home with the kids as school was canceled.  We headed right outside.

They really wanted to go sledding.

 As you can hear, they were sledding on ice!

 Teagan was so happy!

Even the adults joined in on the fun!

 Mr. Mike had no sled, so he brought out the boogie board.

 When we were done with sledding, I realized it was time to take care of an icy driveway so I could get to work eventually.

 It was a lot of work, but I had many helpers!

We finally got it all done!!!  

The kids went back to sledding.

No school again tomorrow so the fun continues!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Bart woke up to a special surprise on Valentine's Day.  Balloons hanging all around the house.  He thought they were just for decorations, but the girls and I put something special in each one.

He had to pop each balloon to find a love note from us, and then some chocolate kisses!

Teagan thought the balloon popping was too loud, but they did love getting the chocolate!

 Taya had fun popping the balloons.

The girls made us special cards. (they were pouting in the video as I said no more candy!)

 Bart got the girls special gifts.

 I'm pretty proud of my gift for Bart!

 Bart also got me earrings, and then the real treat for us....Nana Gail and Papa Lloyd took the girls all weekend!  We met them at the movies, and off they went.  The girls had their first sleepover!

Bart and I enjoyed dinner...a movie...and we got to sleep in!  What a perfect Valentines Day!!!!

Circus Fun!

We all went to the circus over the weekend.  At first, Teagan did not like the bright lights and sounds.  Hence, why she is hiding in Bart's lap.

 Taya LOVED it!

 Teagan eventually warmed up to it.

Special Night

Bart took the girls out for a special night of dancing.  They were all dressed up ready for the Father/Daughter Dance.

100 Days of School

I can't believe Taya has been in Kindergarten for 100 days!!!  She had to make a special t-shirt with 100 things on it.  She picked 100 puffy dots.

My Morning Partner

After I get Taya off to school, it's time for me to get ready for work.  I always have a special someone who likes to join me.

 Teagan has her own make-up, and she wants to make sure she looks perfect!
