Great Holiday!

It was such a wonderful break to be with my family for the last two weeks.  No work, just all fun!  The girls had a blast, and so did I.  This picture dates back to before Grammy and Grampy got to our house.  Taya helped wrapped one of their gifts, and she even wrote her name on it!

I was so proud of how well she can write her name.

Grammy and Grampy finally pulled in, and Taya ran out with a big smile to see them.

Papa Lloyd (AKA Santa) and Nana Gail came over bearing lots of gifts!

The next morning Taya was already trying out her new play dough set.

So at 11:00 on Christmas Eve, we realized Bart had a big job ahead of him!

Christmas morning...Teagan was the first one up.  At 9:30 Taya was still sleeping, so we decided to open our gifts!

Grampy surprised Grammy with an IPAD!!! 

My parents gave me gift cards for new furniture!

They gave Bart gift cards to get a new grill.

Taya FINALLY got up.  The first thing she wanted to do was give Teagan the gift she got her.

I missed her expression seeing the Barbie house, but she was super excited.  Equally excited to get Ken plus lots more Barbies from Grammy and Grampy!

The excitement continued with Minnie pots and pans.

I just love her expression as she opened all of her gifts! 

Teagan wanted to be part of it all.

A V-TECH video game set so she can play just like daddy does with his PlayStation.

Taya was so excited to get a REAL Easy Bake Oven from Uncle Scott, Aunt Temple, Zack, Jake, and Madi.

Taya also got this awesome remote-control convertible Barbie car from Grammy and Grampy.

It was so nice outside on Christmas day the girls headed outside to try out their gifts.

We celebrated Grammy's birthday!  Taya was so proud of the card she made her.

Plus the calender with all of their special memories together.

Uncle Scott, Aunt Temple, Zack, Jake, and Madi sent Grammy a cookie bouquet.

These cookies didn't last long.

Throughout the week, Taya played all of her new games, including one of her favorites....Operation.  She told me she is going to be a doctor now.

Grampy and Taya have been best pals enjoying the outdoors. Taya is Grampy's helper, and Grampy put out the bouncy house for Taya!

Check out Grampy's new invention.  He turned a seat cushion into a fun ride.
