Myrtle Beach 2013

We decided to take a getaway to Myrtle Beach for a few days.  The weather was going to be perfect, so we were all excited.  We attempted to have a nice car ride with Teagan.  The headphones lasted all of 5 minutes!
The minute we got there, the girls were ready for the beach!
They wasted no time jumping right in.
 One of Taya's masterpieces.
She was so proud of it.
As soon as the girls got up the next morning, they said let's go to the beach to fly the kite.
I don't have any pictures of the beach fun on the first full day as I spent the day at the urgent care with Teagan as she got a double ear infection.  Once we got back to the room, she slept for 5 hours! That night we headed out to dinner at a Pirate restaurant.
Teagan was feeling better as soon as she spotted this!
On the boardwalk, there were tons of ducks to feed.
Taya fed this one right out of her hand.
We also fed the fish.  Check out just how many fish there were.
The next day, Teagan was feeling better and ready for some fun in the sun.
Daddy burying her in the sand.
 One of my beach babes.
 Taya as a mermaid.
 Here is my Baywatch sequence.
 Now Teagan's turn.
After lunch, it was back to the beach.
 Jumping every wave.
I finally got a picture of all of our friends.  We actually went to the beach with two other couples, and it was so great for all of the kids to play together.
They loved digging a BIG hole.
It's tough to get a picture with all 4 kids looking in one direction.
 Smiles are a bonus!
They even followed instructions when we told them to raise their hands.
Teagan is loving all the attention.
Our attempt at a family picture.
 Taya getting buried again.
That night we headed the boardwalk for some fun.
We took a Ferris Wheel ride over the ocean.
 I love Teagan's face here.
Our last day at the beach, the girls were up early.  We even got to feed the seagulls.
 Walking the beach with daddy.
I wanted to get some good shots of the girls.
While Taya was  ready to please...
Teagan wanted nothing to do with looking at the camera.
She wanted to go in the ocean with her dress on...so in she went!
 My beautiful Teagan.
 Chasing the seagulls again.
She knows I want a picture...
and is just giving me the attitude.
My last attempt at a shot, and Teagan is still not having it!
But my precious Taya was still smiling!
We all had a fantastic time, and Taya told us she is ready to go back.  While I typically have good sleepers, on vacation both girls were up at the crack of dawn.  Both stayed up way past their bedtime each night too.  While they didn't act exhausted while at the beach, once we got in the car to go home, both girls were asleep within minutes!!!  We stopped for dinner before we hit our house, and here's how the girls described the trip.
