We had to move out of the house on Teagan's 1st Birthday, so we didn't even acknowledge it on that day. With 1st children, you have a big party...with the second child...we ran to Target and bought the smallest cake we could find for just us to celebrate.
Teagan really didn't know what to do with the cake.
She was more interested in the balloons than cake.
Bart finally put the cake near her mouth...
and she was not too fond of it!
Again, with the 1st child you take a hundred pictures and let them make a mess of the cake.
With this one, we gave her the balloons, and the rest of us ate the cake!
She was pretty happy with no cake!

An adorable singing bear named Violet from Grandma and Grandpa Brodersen that when you hook it up to the computer you can personalize it to Teagan.
She was in awe over Violet.
Of course, the Brokers never forget a birthday!
A beautiful 4th of July dress.
I don't know if Teagan actually ever got to open any of her own presents.
A Winnie the Poo book from the Broker's too.
Teagan loved pressing all of the buttons to hear the songs.
Teagan also got money for her college fund from my Aunt Sylvia and Uncle Dick and a gift card that we already put to good use from my Aunt Sandy and Uncle Jim.
Despite not having a big 1st Birthday party, Teagan still had a ball on her birthday!
