What Have We Been Up To?

The simple answer...WE MOVED!
Around Christmas time, we decided to put our house on the market.  It sounded like a good idea, until the packing started.  The girls had fun helping us.  I don't know if they helped or slowed down the process.
Over Christmas instead of relaxing, Grammy and Grampy packed half our house for us.
We put the house on the market in January, thinking it would take a few months to sell.  Boy were we wrong!  Within 2 weeks, we had more than 30 showings, and multiple offers.  We picked the offer that was too good to pass up, BUT it meant we had to be out of our home in 30 days!!!!  We had no where to move, so we started selling everything.  Taya was sad to get rid of the chair I rocked her in day after day.
She told me she really wanted to keep it, but SOLD!
We sold just about everything on our first floor.  This is how we lived for a while.  As you can see, we still had TV so the girls didn't mind.
We even had to take down the trampoline and all of the outside toys.  Taya was supposed to help...
instead she had a ball playing in the creek/
Grammy came to the rescue, and she helped us get the entire hosue packed up.  You don't see Grammy because she was like a tornado going through the house and getting it all together...but Teagan...she found Grammy's shoes...
and loved trying to walk around in them.
This purple table was the only furniture we had on the first floor.  It became the entertainment for the girls too.
The girls checking out their backyard for the last time.   Taya told me she was really going to miss her home.
The last breakfast in the house!
We moved this past weekend, and it was a pain to say the least.  We have no new home yet, so we are living in a furnished townhome for a few months.  While Bart and I are exhausted from the move, it never would have happened without the help of my mom and Nana Gail.  Both packed up until they couldn't work anymore, and Gail watched the girls while we got everything out of our home.  We are no longer residents of Holly Springs.  We are settled in our temporary home for a few months, and we're looking forward to our next adventure!
