Happy Father's Day!

We decided to attempt to go out to eat, and to actually try and enjoy it.  You never know how it's going to go, but this time we hit a home run.  Taya sat right down, she picked up the wine list and told me exactly what she wanted.
 Teagan picked out some pasta!
Thumbs up for the good apple wine (AKA apple juice).
We made it through dinner without any meltdowns!
My attempt at getting the two girls together for a picture.
There is an awesome playground right next to where we ate.
Both girls did not want to leave.
There's a splash playground there too, and let's just say no one left dry.
 My climber.
The crazy girls together.
Taya was soaked so we had to convince her to change clothes to indulge in a BIG cupcake!
For Father's Day, the girls made daddy something special.
They spelled out DAD with each one holding a letter and then both together.
Here is how it went
Bart couldn't be a better father to our girls, and they both adore him to pieces.    I love to watch the girls snuggle and play with him, and see the great love they have for each other.  He has so much patience with the girls..and me.  We love you, and thanks for all you do for us.
Now to my dad. He has supported us and provided such an amazing life for myself, my mom and my brother.  I will never forget the countless hours he spent with me fishing, hunting, playing sports, taking me on cool vacations, hanging out...and just being a great dad.  He has moved me around the country more times than I can count.  What I cherish most now with my dad are the wonderful memories he makes with my daughters.  They LOVE their Grampy, and they ask me all the time, "Where's Grampy?  When are we going to his house?  Why can't Grampy be here?"   When Grampy is around, the girls are sure to be smiling and having the time of their lives.  Wish you were here Dad, but get ready for the craziness as in one short week we will be in Pittsburgh!
